Past Continuous Tense learn in Hindi.

सबसे पहले Past Continuous Tense कि पहचान क्या होती है, जान लेते है। Past Continuous Tense से संबंधित वाक्यों का जब हिंन्दी में अनुवाद किया जाता है, तो वाक्य के अंत में रहा था, रही थी, रहे थे की आवाज आती है। Past Continuous Tense से बनने वाले वाक्यों से हमें यह पता चलता है कि कोई काम भूतकाल में किसी निश्चित समय पर निरंतर रूप से हो रहा है। जैसे-

1. वह मुझे गाली दे रही थी। (She was abusing me.)
2. अनु आगरा जा रही थी। (Anu was going to Agra.)

Affirmative Sentences Examples.

Past Continuous Tense में Affirmative Sentences बनाने के लिए इस Structure का प्रयोग किया जाता है। जैसे-
Subject + was/were + verb की 1st form + ing + Object

1. वह एक पत्र लिख रही थी। (She was writing a letter.)
2. सोनिया अपने कपड़े धो रही थी। (Soniya was washing her clothes.)
3. मैं विद्यालय जा रहा था। (I was going to school.)
4. वह मेरा इंतजार कर रही थी। (She was waiting for me.)

तो चलिए अब Affirmative Sentences को Negative Sentences में बदलते है।

नकारात्मक (Negative) वाक्य बनाने के लिए Subject + was/were + not + verb की 1st form + ing + Object का प्रयोग किया जाता है

1. वह पत्र नहीं लिख रही थी। (She was not writing a letter.)
2. सोनिया अपने कपड़े नहीं धो रही थी। (Soniya was not washing her clothes.)
3. मैं विद्यालय नहीं जा रहा था। (I was not going to school.)
4. वह मेरा इंतजार नहीं कर रही थी। (She was not waiting for me.)

इसी तरह जब Affirmative Sentences को Interrogative Sentences बनाना हो तो निम्न Structure का प्रयोग किया जाता है:

प्रश्नवाचक (Interrogative) वाक्यों में Was/Were + subject + verb की 1st form + ing + Object? का प्रयोग होता है।

1. क्या वह एक पत्र लिख रही थी? (Was she writing a letter?)
2. क्या सोनिया अपने कपड़े धो रही थी? (Was Soniya washing her clothes?)
3. क्या मैं स्कूल जा रहा था? (Was I going to school?)
4. क्या वे मेरा इंतजार कर रहे थे? ( Were they waiting for me?)

इसी तरह जब Affirmative Sentences को Interrogative Negative Sentences बनाना हो तो निम्न Structure का प्रयोग किया जाता है:

प्रश्नवाचक-नकारात्मक (Interrogative Negative) वाक्यों में Wasn't/Weren't + subject + verb की 1st form + ing + Object? का प्रयोग होता है।

1. क्या वह पत्र नहीं लिख रही थी? (Wasn't she writing a letter?)
2. क्या सोनिया अपने कपड़े नहीं धो रही थी? (Wasn't Soniya washing her clothes?)
3. क्या मैं स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था? (Was I not going to school?)
4. क्या वे मेरा इंतजार नहीं कर रहे थे? ( Weren't they waiting for me?)
